Medical tourism is exploding across the world.  Recently two important developments in the Cayman Islands makes it a logical destination for Americans seeking drastically less expensive medical care.

First,  renowned heart surgeon Dr. Devi Shetty , who first gained fame in the 1990’s as Mother Theresa’s heart surgeon,  has entered into an agreement with the government of the Cayman Islands to build a 2,000 bed hospital in the Cayman Islands.
