Amazon Films Commercial at The Palms in Playa Flamingo, Costa Rica

In January, Amazon sent a crew of 40 to The Palms Private Residence Club on the serene coast of Playa Flamingo in Costa Rica to shoot the new Amazon Kindle Fire commercial. Movie director Ben Younger, who is known for writing and directing the movie Boiler Room, along with the crew, made The Palms their home for 5 days while they filmed the advertisement. The crew had searched throughout Costa Rica and The Palms was unanimously the best spot in the country with its close proximity to the beach and gorgeous infinity edge pool. The goal of the commercial was to emphasize the advantage that the Amazon Kindle Fire can be read in daylight unlike the iPad. The pools, lawns and beach at The Palms provided the perfect setting for the commercial.
