A YOXALL businessman has been ordered to appear before courts in Spain over an alleged multi-million pound overseas property scam.

A subpoena has been served for Colin Thomas, of Town Hill, to appear in Madrid at 10am on Monday, June 4 as part of a class action lawsuit against Spanish developer Ricardo Miranda Miret.

A YOXALL businessman looks set to be called to appear before courts in Spain over an alleged multi-million pound overseas property scam.

A subpoena is set to be served for Colin Thomas, of Town Hill, to appear in Madrid as a class action lawsuit against Spanish developer Ricardo Miranda Miret continues to rumble on in an effort to recover money on behalf of dozens of Ocean View Properties (OVP) victims.

The sponsor and sole director of Sun Golf, Ricardo Miranda, accused in the case of the same name, which investigates an alleged real estate scam a hundred Irish families, said that provided services to Ocean View Properties for the construction of 400 homes, and never had a relationship with customers, either physically or in writing.
