Dear Client,
Punta Perla has been subjected to defamatory and false attacks during the last year, however never to the extent of the last two months. From the beginning Punta Perla has denounced these attacks to the authorities, locally and internationally, in order to locate and find the perpetrators. Punta Perla has collaborated directly with the official authorities trying to identify the source of said malicious and false attacks.
As you are aware, during the last 10 days, you have been receiving defamatory statements directly via emails going against Punta Perla and its principle executives. As you know our domain site was hacked, emails stolen and the web site manipulated causing grave consequences and damage to Punta Perla.
We are attaching the formal letter received from the Attorney General Office of the Dominican Republic, along with a literal translation of it, for all of you to have and read, in order that you can see that the investigation has identified that they are professional criminals that have, via these malicious and false defamatory attacks, tried to extort and damage the reputation of Punta Perla and its executives.
These emails and falsehoods were initiated after we made public, in October, the official Chinese visit to the Dominican Republic in order to meet with the different Ministries and the President of the country, confirming the first phase construction contract for $462.0 million dollars with Punta Perla.
As you all know, and have received the information sent out in the different newsletters, Punta Perla rightfully owns all the property and has all the permitting in place to initiate construction, as is quite obvious.
We understand your frustration for not having received firsthand information before, however Punta Perla has been collaborating diligently with the authorities and have maintained silence in order to facilitate the investigation.
Next week Punta Perla will send out a newsletter with all of the updated information.
