Guayaquil, Ecuador's coastal city offers visitors a boardwalk "Malecon 2000", one of the new magnets of the city that attracts thousands of people, especially on weekends. It is divided into sectors, each with a different design.

In Northern Sector: Playground area - entertainment and recreation for children and adults. In the Gardens, you can see diversity of over 350 native plant species. Pier IMAX Theatre, 2000, is the first of its kind in South America. Civic Plaza with a gallery that honors the most outstanding persons in the history of Guayaquil.

In Southern Sector: Plaza Olmedo, Shopping Centre and South Market also called the Crystal Palace.
